Having lived in Asia,the Middle East and Europe Jean has had the opportunity to study and exhibit amongst top artists worldwide. With a love of travelling, gardening and animals she is never at a loss for new subject material to paint in her favourite medium of Watercolour.
2008 was an exciting year starting and ending with Jean being at the Mall Galleries in London having been accepted for the British Watercolours Exhibition with the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours in Spring 2008 and the Art Liberating Lives Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in December 2008. This is the first time Jean has submitted work for these prestigious exhibitions. Jean was also a finalist in the SAA Artist of the Year competition.
In 2009 she was elected as an Associate Member of the SWA, Society for Women Artists, where she was awarded the Anthony J Lester Art Critic Award.
Recently elected as a full member Jean will also be exhibiting in the Society of Women Artists ( SWA ) Annual Exhibition at the Mall galleries in London. Where she was described as an 'Embassador of Watercolour' she continues to share her passion worldwide.
