Since completing her fine art degree at the Winchester School Of Art in 2006 Jessica has been a practising artist exhibiting works from galleries and fairs across the south of England.
Jessica’s artwork utilizes the complete spectrum of painting techniques and varying styles to express themes inspired by her day to day experiences. The contrast between the various painting methods expresses the complexity of human emotion, perception and the relationship that control has within the painting process. Detailed hyper realist elements are combined with colourful expressive and bold abstract grounds to create paintings with depth and harmony.
I like to think of my work as being multifaceted and layered just as is the human mind when combined with visual perception and emotional experience. I like to use natural elements such as water, rocks, insects and whether as a subject to express my own feelings and experiences.?
