Angie is a wildlife and pet portrait artist, she is also known as 'From Angie with Love'. Her studio is based in the beautiful Surrey countryside, surrounded by woodland, wild animals, and nature, which inspires her work. After studying Art and design at Croydon College and then Textile Design at Amersham and Wycombe College, Buckinghamshire, Angie worked hard to forge a career as a freelance Textile designer, designing patterns for wall coverings and soft furnishings.
After having her young family, Angie decided to incorporate her art with her other real passion - her lifelong fascination with nature and wild animals. This has inspired her to capture some of our best-loved wild animals and birds in unique, dramatic and intimate compositions to produce captivating statement pieces. Working in coloured pencil, she focuses on fine detail and technical accuracy to create a sense of realism. However, she always looks to produce something beyond the standard natural history study to bring the subject's character and environment to life and create a piece with impact that offers a window into their world.
